OCS Version 0.5

Published by Ian Davis under Uncategorized

Work has started on the next version of OCS. We’re discussing it right now on the Internet Alchemy list. Topics up for discussion include whether to keep RDF or not and how best to include classification information for each channel. So, if you have an interest in OCS or are using it as part of your site it’d be great to hear your comments on the list.

Internet Alchemy Mailing List

Published by Ian Davis under Uncategorized

I’m very dissatisified with the web right now. I’m so busy at the moment that I rarely get time to surf like I used to - instead, I keep up to date via mailing lists and email with friends. That’s why, as an experiment, I’ve set up an Internet Alchemy mailing list. From now on, I’ll be posting all the stuff that used to go on this site to the mailing list instead. So if you’re interested in Internet development, especially the emerging new technologies and standards such as XML, WAP and Syndication the Alchemy list could be for you. To subscribe, send a message to alchemy-subscribe@topica.com. See you
there!
